RECOMMENDED INSTALLATION PRACTICES
Please follow these guidelines to help ensure a successful, long-lasting installation. Your licensed tile contractor is ultimately responsible for all installation decisions and methods.
- FOLLOW TCNA GUIDELINES
Adhere to the Tile Council of North America’s recommendations for glass tile installation, including proper movement joints. - USE GLASS-SPECIFIC ADHESIVES
Always use an adhesive specially formulated for glass tile. Some adhesives designed for porcelain tiles can shrink when overapplied and may cause cracking in the glass tiles. - CHOOSE REPUTABLE PRODUCT SYSTEMS
We recommend using installation systems from companies that offer limited warranties or complete replacement guarantees if their products are used according to their instructions, giving you added peace of mind. - CONSIDER EPOXY SYSTEMS
A colored epoxy product suitable for setting and grouting can improve long-term performance. Proper application ensures strong edge bonding and a secure installation.
If you or your contractor have questions regarding the proper installation of Aquabella glass, our customer service team is here to help. We are committed to ensuring your tile project is a success.
